Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Hellstorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexander Hellstorm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hellstorm with that takedown attempt.
Hellstorm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Hellstorm back into the cage.

Jones lands a takedown into guard.
Jones postures up in Hellstorm's guard and throws a big left but Hellstorm blocks it.

Hellstorm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hellstorm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Hellstorm's legs - danger averted.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hellstorm is keeping the position for now.

Hellstorm had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.

Hellstorm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jones looking to pass the guard.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hellstorm is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Jones landing some decent shots from guard.
Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Alexander Hellstorm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones blocks a head kick by Hellstorm.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hellstorm's guard.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hellstorm swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hellstorm, up you get!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hellstorm napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Hellstorm is breathing heavily.
Jones throws a strike aimed at the side of Hellstorm's head but Hellstorm avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hellstorm is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

A determined Jon Jones didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
