Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Nikolaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thracian Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spartacus has chosen let the bodies hit the floor as his entrance music. Thracian Spartacus has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spartacus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nikolaev did well to prevent Spartacus getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Nikolaev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Spartacus pulls his head out easily.
Nikolaev is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Spartacus scores with a couple of nice shots.

Spartacus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nikolaev's head.
Nikolaev tries to roll over but Spartacus keeps him under control.
Spartacus content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Spartacus is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spartacus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Nikolaev has his foot on Spartacus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spartacus works his way back into a safe position though.

Nikolaev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Spartacus defends it easily.
Spartacus with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spartacus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nikolaev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nikolaev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spartacus defends well.

Nikolaev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spartacus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Spartacus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Nikolaev has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Spartacus should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nikolaev has tightened it up now! Spartacus should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
