Oliwa comes to the ring accompanied by MMA RAP - POLAND FIRST TO FIGHT. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliwa misses with a body shot.
Dixon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sloppy strikes from Oliwa. Those never looked like landing.
Oliwa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dixon sprawls well initially but Oliwa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Well, if Oliwa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Oliwa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dixon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Oliwa seems to be looking for submissions.

Oliwa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oliwa cracks Dixon with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Oliwa immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Dixon is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Oliwa!

Mariusz Oliwa was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
