Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Burrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayde Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burrows comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Child 'O Mine. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Sullivan.

Burrows throws out a loose jab but Sullivan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burrows throws a lazy uppercut

and Sullivan counters with a series of strikes that sends Burrows to the canvas! Sullivan follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Burrows wants to stand but Sullivan is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sullivan stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Burrows throws a hook to the side of Sullivan's head but Sullivan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sullivan moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Burrows goes down! Can Sullivan finish him!?

Burrows is rocked!

It looks like Lincoln Burrows has been cut.
Sullivan gets to his feet and stands over Burrows, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Burrows felt that one! Sullivan unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Burrows from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayde Sullivan!
