The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyler avoids it really well and circles away.
Markov misses with a takedown
and Tyler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Tyler. Those never looked like landing.
Markov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jake Tyler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Markov.

Jake Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Markov throws a body kick that misses.
Markov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tyler quickly recovers to half guard.
Markov working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Tyler's thigh. Tyler counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Tyler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Markov defends it easily.

Tyler wants to stand up but Markov is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Markov is one step ahead there.

Tyler has his feet on Markov's thighs here. He's pushed Markov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Markov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
