Animai comes into the arena with Never Back Down - Linkin Park blaring out of the sound system. Buddy Stevens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Animai shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Animai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Stevens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
