Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Prior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Mato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Prior!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mato lands with a right hand.
Mato throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Prior.
Mato digs a good hook to Prior's body.

Mato gets caught flat footed, as Prior shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Prior is working Mato over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Mato looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mato looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Prior should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Prior advances position into side control!
Mato knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prior on the ground.

Prior tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Prior has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mato takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Prior cracks Mato with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mato on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mato tries to get out of the position.
Prior grinds an elbow into Mato's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mato tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Prior lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mato down.
Prior in side control lands a decent elbow.
Mato is trying to work for a sweep but Prior has mounted him!
Prior lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mato really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mato tries to improve his position but instead Prior has taken his back!

Prior is working for a rear naked choke. Mato is not defending it well and Prior has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mato refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mato's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
