The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pur tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pur somewhat.
Pur 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slice Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pur scrambles back to his feet.
Slice Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slice Jr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Slice Jr looks to land a left hand but Pur moved out of range nicely.

Pur shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Slice Jr is trying to defend but Pur finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pur is looking to advance position but Slice Jr won't allow it.

Slice Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pur pulls his head out easily.
Pur uses his free foot to push down on Slice Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Slice Jr.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pur looking for a guillotine from mount but Slice Jr is having none of it.
Slice Jr is trying desperately to improve position.

Slice Jr is trying to reverse the position but instead Pur has taken his back - oops!
Slice Jr is trying to break free.
Well, with Pur on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Slice Jr is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Pur controls the position.
Slice Jr trying to control the action but Pur just sinks the hooks in.
Slice Jr turns into Pur and is now in his guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Pur manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slice Jr manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pur throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Slice Jr wants to sweep here but Pur controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice Jr keeping moving, preventing Pur from controlling successfully.

Slice Jr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pur defends well.
Pur is pushing down on Slice Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slice Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Pur has managed to sneak the leg through.
Pur wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slice Jr keeps working.
Slice Jr wants to control but Pur is keeping busy.
Slice Jr slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Pur trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pur is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Pur drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Slice Jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pur has Slice Jr in his guard.
Pur can't keep his opponent in guard - Slice Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Pur is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Slice Jr is tapping! Great win for Pur !
