Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Male Nurse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Sommers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurse comes to the cage accompanied by The Crazy Things We Do. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vic Sommers!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurse connects with a single shot there.
Sommers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nurse throws out the jab.
Sommers lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Male Nurse has been cut.
Sommers attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sommers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nurse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sommers.
Sommers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sommers looks for a takedown but Nurse sprawls well.
Sommers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nurse but Nurse pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sommers slips a straight right by Nurse.
Sommers thows a body kick. Nurse tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nurse misses with an uppercut.
Sommers takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Sommers gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nurse blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Nurse is trying to break the clinch but Sommers is controlling him.
Sommers tries to work over Nurse's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Still in the clinch, Sommers scores with a nice short uppercut.
Sommers is working for takedown but Nurse is calmly controlling the position for now.
Male Nurse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vic Sommers.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vic Sommers.

Sommers looks to land a combination but Nurse avoids it well.
Sommers just misses with a punch to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sommers slowing the pace effectively.
Nurse is trying to break the clinch but Sommers has him pressed against the cage.
Sommers will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nurse up against the cage.

Nurse is trying to push Sommers away but Sommers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sommers lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sommers keeps control of Nurse as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sommers is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nurse is defending well for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sommers throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nurse counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sommers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sommers slaps away a takedown attempt from Nurse, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sommers throws a body kick that misses.
Nurse lands a lovely overhand right.
Sommers's corner calls for a 1-2. Sommers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Sommers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nurse has time to react.

A cross from Nurse lands.
Sommers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nurse was well out of range. Poor timing from Sommers.
Sommers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nurse looks for the body kick but Sommers saw that one coming.
Nurse thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice defenses there by Sommers.
Sommers lands a jab to the head.
Nurse ducks under a wild hook from Sommers.

and Sommers counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nurse throws a looping overhand right but Sommers ducks down to avoid it.

Sommers throws a series of strikes that have Nurse backpedaling.

Nurse is rocked!

Male Nurse's cut is getting worse.
Sommers just misses with a punch to the body.
Sommers connects with a combination that backs up Nurse into the cage. Sommers lands a flurry of punches that gets past Nurse's guard. Nurse is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Sommers bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
