Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Descharme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Descharme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Descharme works Rollins's body with a nice hook.
Rollins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rollins slips a jab from Descharme.
Rollins loads up on a big right hand but Descharme slips the punch.
Descharme throws the kick towards the body but Rollins avoids it.

Rollins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Descharme throws an overhand right that lands on Rollins's shoulder, as Rollins tries to avoid the shot.

Descharme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Descharme shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rollins sprawls well. Rollins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Descharme gets slowly back to his feet.

Rollins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Descharme.

Rollins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Descharme can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Jean Descharme will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Rollins closes the distance and clinches.
Rollins is pushing Descharme up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Descharme turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Descharme manages to end up in side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rollins connects with a nice short shot to Descharme's temple.
Rollins is stalling here. Descharme is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rollins seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Descharme has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

I think Rollins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
