Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Belt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clifford Harris!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in for a takedown but Belt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet.
Harris keeps the fight on the outside.

Belt tries to keep at a distance but Harris has taken the fight into the clinch.
Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Harris has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Belt clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Harris is hanging on to Belt's back as he tries to escape.
Belt just trying to survive but Harris is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
I really don't envy Belt right now.
Belt trying to control the position but Harris manages to sink in the hooks.

Harris looking to break Belt's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Belt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Harris will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Belt looking very determined here, making life difficult for Harris.
Belt tries to escape but Harris has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Belt manages to reverse the position and now he's in Harris's guard. Nice work there by Belt.
Harris is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Belt advances position into side control!
Harris wants to control but Belt postures up.
Belt misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Belt is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Harris looks calm but he's in trouble here. Belt gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Harris is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Belt lets go of the hold and Harris can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Johnny Belt!
