The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escargesa misses with a kick to the body.
Escargesa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jorma has taken the fight to the clinch.
Escargesa wants to take the fight to the mat but Jorma manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jorma tries a body shot but Escargesa blocks it.

Escargesa jumps into guard, dragging Jorma to the mat.
Escargesa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Escargesa wants to get back to his feet but Jorma is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Escargesa has a closed guard, preventing Jorma from standing up.
Escargesa throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Vincent Escargesa has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Escargesa goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jorma moves in looking to clinch but Escargesa pushes him off.

and Jorma holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jorma throws an elbow but misses.
Escargesa prevents a body shot from Jorma.
The referee calls for Jorma to work.
Jorma tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Escargesa avoids it.

Jorma misses with a hook from the clinch.
Jorma stalls.
Jorma misses with a knee strike.
Escargesa goes for a takedown attempt but Jorma pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
