The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salciak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rossi tries to avoid it but Salciak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rossi to the ground. Rossi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Salciak shoots and misses

so Rossi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Salciak drops back looking for a leg! Rossi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rossi manages to kick Salciak off! Salciak jumps back into Rossi's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Piotr Salciak hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rossi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Piotr Salciak has been cut.

Rossi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rossi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rossi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Salciak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Salciak and Rossi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rossi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Salciak is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Salciak has escaped and now he's on top!

Salciak drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Salciak as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rossi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Salciak! Nice submission victory there!
