Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zak Zak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mico Pazuh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pazuh sprawls well. Pazuh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zak gets slowly back to his feet.
Zak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zak wants it to stay on the feet.
Pazuh tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Zak counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Zak is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Pazuh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zak walks away with a smile on his face. Pazuh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Zak stands and throws Pazuh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zak creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pazuh sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Pazuh tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Zak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pazuh is desperately trying to improve his position but Zak has a good base and remains in mount.
Pazuh has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Zak Zak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Zak has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pazuh's body.
