The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLumberg avoids the body shot from Collins.
Collins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McLumberg feints and then cracks Collins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Collins down.
Collins tries to score with a low kick but McLumberg moves his leg out of the way.
A bone on bone clash there as McLumberg blocks the leg kick.
Collins slips a straight right by McLumberg.

Collins takes a swing at McLumberg's ribcage but misses.

Collins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Collins cracks McLumberg with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Collins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Collins lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McLumberg tries to hold on but Collins pushes him away.

McLumberg is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Collins is staying active.
McLumberg is wriggling around trying to escape.
Collins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McLumberg looks a forlorn figure.
Collins lands a heavy elbow.

McLumberg is rocked!
McLumberg takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Collins's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
