Runkle has chosen Californication theme as his entrance music. Nando Rafael is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runkle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rafael misses with a low kick as Runkle jumps back.

That was a close round but I would say that Nando Rafael will probably get the nod.

Runkle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Runkle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Runkle tries to clinch up but Rafael circles away and keeps his distance.

Runkle has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Runkle 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rafael connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Runkle scrambles back to his feet.
Runkle 's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
