PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Felino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felino's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beat and the Pulse. On his way into the cage it seems that Fredrick Felino has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fredrick Felino seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fredrick Felino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Lindh!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felino throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lindh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lindh tries to score with a low kick but Felino moves his leg out of the way.
Felino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lindh.
Lindh looks to score with a jab to the body but Felino is just out of range.
Lindh throws out a loose jab but Felino uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Felino, right into the meat.
Lindh cracks Felino with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Felino changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lindh tries to avoid it but Felino manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lindh to the ground. Lindh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lindh gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Felino breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lindh takes a swing at Felino's ribcage but misses.

Lindh drives through and clinches with Felino against the cage.
Lindh misses with a punch on the inside.

Felino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lindh avoids the head kick by Felino.
Felino slips a jab from Lindh.
Lindh looks to land a body kick but Felino moved away.
Lindh just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lindh wants to clinch up but Felino keeps it at a distance.
Lindh stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Lindh looks to land a combination. Felino sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Lindh is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Felino had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Felino is looking to wear down Lindh with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

It looks like Peter Lindh has been cut.

Lindh misses the shot to the body.
Lindh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Felino throws a sloppy head kick and Lindh moves out of range easily.
Felino takes a swing at Lindh's ribcage but misses.

Lindh gets caught napping as Felino dives in and scores a takedown. Lindh manages to retain guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Felino accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Felino makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Felino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Fredrick Felino will probably get the nod.

Good leg kick by Felino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Felino takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Peter Lindh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Felino seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lindh is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
