The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Targaryen misses with a combination

Three tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Targaryen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Targaryen tries to bum rush Three with a series of wild strikes but Three uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Targaryen punishes Three's body with a nice straight punch.
Targaryen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Targaryen misses with a hook. Three ducked under it nicely.
Targaryen throws a right hand that Three ducks under and follows up with a left that Three also avoids with ease.

Targaryen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Targaryen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Three moves away.
Targaryen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Three closes the distance and clinches.
Targaryen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Three fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Three tries to close the distance and clinch up but Targaryen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Three connects with a jab.
Targaryen misses with a straight left.
Targaryen takes a swing at Three's ribcage but misses.
Three rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Targaryen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Targaryen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Three sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Targaryen looks to throw the jab but Three is out of range.

Aegon Targaryen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Targaryen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Three counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Three lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Three lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Three misses with the head strike.

Three successfully pulls guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Three tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Three is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Targaryen has his hands clasped together but Three extends an breaks Targaryen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Three.
