Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A bone on bone clash there as Daniels blocks the leg kick.
Daniels pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Slice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Slice got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slice has managed to get both his arms back between Daniels's legs - danger averted.

Daniels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slice can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slice defends well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slice connects with a nice short shot to Daniels's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slice shoots in looking for a takedown. Daniels tries to sprawl out of it but Slice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daniels manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daniels has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daniels and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fighters circle momentarily. Slice darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
