Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gates is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 9 Piece. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate looks for a takedown but Gates sprawls well.
Gates tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tate swivels and escapes.
Gates throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gates misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tate.

Gates drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tate pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tate is staying active underneath Gates, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Tate stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gates swivels though and keeps the full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tate has gone for a leg lock! Gates slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tate's guard.
