Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonje Moco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Texas Pete!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Moco closes the distance and pushes Pete back into the cage.
Pete has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pete is looking to break free of the clinch but Moco has double underhooks.
Pete fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Pete misses with a hook to the ribs.
Moco lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Pete misses with the head strike.
Pete misses with a punch to the body.
Moco missing with knees to the body.
Moco blocks a body shot from Pete.

Pete breaks the clinch.
Pete misses with a hook
and Moco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pete rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moco counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Moco misses with a wild combination.
Moco wants to clinch but Pete slips to the side
and Pete counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Lonje Moco has been cut.
Moco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pete paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Moco with a body punch. A glancing blow.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pete.
Pete misses with some punches.

Moco has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pete uses from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moco has control of Pete's left arm, preventing Pete from doing any damage.
Moco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moco tries to get out of the position.
Pete wants to stand and escape but instead Moco has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Moco passes into half guard.
Pete wants to get back to full guard.

Pete actively working from the bottom here.

Moco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pete wants to sweep but Moco has passed to side control!

Pete is looking to regain half guard here but Moco keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pete thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lonje Moco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pete misses with a hook. Moco ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moco rushes Pete and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pete misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pete tries to work over Moco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pete.
The referee is keeping an eye on Moco - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Pete wants to break free but Moco has control.
Pete tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Moco pulls guard successfully.

Pete gets to his feet - Moco follows without any prompting.
Pete throws the left hand but Moco avoids the punch easily.
Moco fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moco moves out of range of the strikes.
Pete misses with a two punch combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pete misses with an uppercut
and Moco counters with a one-two to the body.
Moco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pete lands the left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moco tries to clinch there but Pete circles away.

Pete keeps the fight on the outside.

Moco scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Texas Pete is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moco fails with a takedown attempt.
Pete swats away the attempt to clinch by Moco.
Texas Pete seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Moco tries to clinch there but Pete circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

and Pete counters with a three punch combo that has Moco backing up. Moco nods at Pete to acknowledge the strikes.
Pete keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pete swings widly with a right hand
and Moco counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pete throws a combination that misses
and Moco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moco's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pete connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Moco scrambles back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moco misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pete.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Texas Pete showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Moco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Moco throws a shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moco is defended easily by Pete.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Moco throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moco pushes Pete up against the cage in a clinch.

Moco lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Moco drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Moco blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Moco gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Pete escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pete wants to improve his position but Moco is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moco wants to take a breather but Pete is having none of it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pete is trying to get back to full guard.

Lonje Moco has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Pete misses with a left hand
and Moco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lonje Moco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pete throws a nice looking combination but Moco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Moco moves into the clinch.
Pete misses with a punch to the body.

Pete tries to work over Moco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Moco is trying to trip Pete. He has hold of a leg but Pete is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Moco persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Pete keeping moving, preventing Moco from controlling successfully.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lonje Moco.
Pete misses with a left hand
and Moco connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Moco lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lonje Moco showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Moco has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
