Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Galen Tyrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Guido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrol comes into the arena with Eye Of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Guido's choice of entrance music: Strictly Business. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guido is looking to clinch.

Tyrol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guido gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Guido distracts Tyrol with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Guido stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyrol swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Guido postures up and lands a big shot to Tyrol's brow.

Tyrol is looking for a kimura but Guido is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tyrol to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tyrol looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guido is fending him off so far but Tyrol persists. Nope, Guido circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyrol feints and as Guido raises his hands in defense, Tyrol changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Guido is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Guido throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Tyrol frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tyrol throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Guido has his hands clasped together but Tyrol breaks the hold and Guido is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Tyrol!
