Alves has chosen Guerreiro by Curumin as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Guilherme Alves was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Penties drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Penties gets tackled into the cage by Alves. Alves maintains the clinch.
Alves throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Penties tries a body shot but Alves blocks it.
Alves pushes off an throws an elbow but Penties leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Penties's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Penties blocks an elbow strike from Alves.
Alves softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Alves lands with a light punch inside.
Alves lands a nice uppercut.
Alves lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Ben Penties has been cut.
Alves lands a shoulder strike.
Penties is rocked!
Alves lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Penties backwards.
Oh Penties is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Alves lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Penties backwards.
Alves lands an elbow that stopped Penties in his tracks for a moment.
Alves lands a left hand.
Alves creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Penties's defenses.
Alves throws a big uppercut that drops Penties! More strikes from Alves and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Penties lies dazed against the cage as Alves celebrates with his cornermen!
