Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diablo Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mychal Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callahan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Callahan looks for the body kick but Chang saw that one coming.
Chang misses with a straight left.
Chang on the wrong end of a nice jab.

and Chang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mychal Callahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Callahan tries to bum rush Chang with a series of wild strikes but Chang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fighters circling - Chang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Chang is working Callahan over with some ground and pound from side control.
Chang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chang throws a strike aimed at the side of Callahan's head but Callahan avoids it well.
