The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delieholy looks to land a right hand but Pontes moved out of range.
Delieholy misses with a double jab.
Pontes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Delieholy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Delieholy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Delieholy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pontes on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Delieholy enables Pontes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Delieholy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Delieholy can't keep his opponent in guard - Pontes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Pontes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pontes wants to free his trapped foot but Delieholy is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Delieholy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pontes on the ground.
