Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy has chosen Till i Colapse -Eminem as his entrance music. Pauly Boy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boy at a distance.
Boy misses with an uppercut
and Babcock counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nice defenses there by Babcock.
Boy ducks right into an uppercut from Babcock.

Babcock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boy.
Boy swings for the body but Babcock moves out of range.
Babcock digs a good hook to Boy's body.
Babcock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boy.
Babcock throws a front kick that sends Boy stumbling back into the cage.
Boy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Boy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Babcock.
Babcock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Babcock.

Boy looks to throw the jab but Babcock is out of range.
Babcock is looking to wear down Boy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Boy misses with a lunging right hand
and Babcock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pauly Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Babcock to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Babcock tries to free his leg and advance position but Boy is retaining full guard.
Boy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Babcock pushing down on Boy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Boy pushes Babcock off looking to stand but Babcock dives back in and keeps control.

Boy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Babcock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boy keeping moving, preventing Babcock from controlling successfully.
Babcock throws a strike but Boy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Boy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boy throws an elbow that misses. Babcock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boy's guard. Nice move by Babcock!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Babcock is controlling him.
Babcock trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Boy manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Babcock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boy throws a hook to the side of Babcock's head but Babcock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Babcock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boy circles away quickly and effectively.

Babcock tries to bum rush Boy with a series of wild strikes but Boy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Babcock bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boy's head.

Oh Babcock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pauly Boy seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Boy jabs Babcock right on the nose. Babcock blinks but takes it well.
Boy drops Babcock with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Babcock! Boy dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
