Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ur Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axe comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom the Bell Tolls. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, ur Down!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe lands with an overhand left.
Down misses with a takedown

and Axe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Axe sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Down has an active guard here but Axe has managed to pass into half guard.
Axe looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Axe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Down does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Axe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Axe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Down sees it coming and defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Down is looking for a sweep. Axe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Axe maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Down could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Axe has cracked it and Down is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Axe!

A relieved looking Blake Axe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
