Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Youngblood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eff Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eff Bomb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Youngblood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eff Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Youngblood gets a takedown into half guard.

Youngblood wants to work for an arm triangle but Bomb is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Youngblood lands strikes from half guard.
Bomb is not content to let Youngblood control the position.

Youngblood seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Bomb has recovered full guard.
Youngblood advances to half guard.

Youngblood trying to advance position but Bomb counters by regaining guard.

Youngblood is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bomb is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bomb has escaped and now he's on top!
Youngblood looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bomb puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Bomb stands up out of the half guard.

Bomb misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bomb closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Youngblood to the mat! Youngblood manages to get full guard.
Bomb tries to stand but Youngblood is controlling from the bottom.

Bomb postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Youngblood throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bomb uses it to pass to side control.
Youngblood is breathing heavily.
Youngblood tries to buck Bomb off but Bomb is having none of it.
Youngblood is working hard here to advance position.

Youngblood looking for a sweep but Bomb has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Youngblood is looking to get to half guard.
Youngblood on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Youngblood tries to get out of the position.
Bomb can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Youngblood is looking to escape.
Bomb lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Youngblood is looking to improve his position but Bomb isn't that keen on the idea.
Youngblood regains half guard.

Youngblood looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bomb pushes past his half guard into mount!
Youngblood is squirming around, avoiding Bomb's attempts to control the action.
Bomb prevents Youngblood from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eff Bomb dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Youngblood throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bomb wants to clinch.

Youngblood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bomb looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Youngblood trying to control the position but Bomb is working away.
Bomb is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Youngblood has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bomb clinches up against the cage.

Youngblood drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bomb pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bomb lands a nice shot to the body.
Eff Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Youngblood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Youngblood works his way into side control.
Youngblood works to advance to full mount. Bomb defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
You get the feeling that Bomb really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Youngblood lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Youngblood stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bomb just misses with a punch to the body.
Bomb tries to clinch up.
Bomb tries to close the distance and clinch but Youngblood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bomb wants to clinch up but Youngblood keeps it at a distance.
Youngblood lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Bomb just misses with a punch to the body.

Youngblood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Youngblood won't allow Bomb to get back to his feet.
Youngblood slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jordan Youngblood overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Youngblood thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bomb is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Youngblood wants to control but Bomb is keeping him busy.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Youngblood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bomb knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Youngblood shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Youngblood lands a nice short elbow.
Youngblood passes to full mount!
Youngblood looking to control but Bomb is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
BOOM! Youngblood connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Youngblood swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bomb is now in Youngblood's guard. A big mistake from Youngblood there, giving up the dominant position!
Bomb is looking to stand up but Youngblood won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Youngblood manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bomb manages to get himself to full guard.
Youngblood passes Bomb's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Youngblood working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bomb's thigh. Bomb counters though and makes it back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Youngblood postures up in Bomb's guard and throws a big left but Bomb blocks it.

Bomb has a closed guard, preventing Youngblood from standing up.
Bomb is looking to stand up but Youngblood isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Youngblood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bomb.
Youngblood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bomb's waist but Bomb gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Youngblood off to one side.
Bomb wants to clinch.
Youngblood will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bomb throws a nice outside leg kick.

Youngblood shoots in and bounces Bomb off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Youngblood drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bomb looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bomb looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bomb!
