The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

StAmand looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
StAmand wants to get up but he can't break Lauzou's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
StAmand throws a strike but Lauzou rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lauzou wants to control from the top but StAmand keeps moving.

StAmand has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lauzou off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lauzou stuffs the takedown.
Lauzou misses with a few strikes there.
Lauzou misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
StAmand avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lauzou lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

StAmand fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lauzou sprawls well initially but StAmand persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lauzou works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lauzou has momentary wrist control but StAmand slips an elbow through the middle.
Lauzou keeping moving, preventing StAmand from controlling successfully.
StAmand wants to stand and escape but instead Lauzou has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

StAmand unloads with some shots from mount but Lauzou bucks and avoids them well.

StAmand moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lauzou has worked his arm free - good work by Lauzou!
StAmand looks gassed!

Lauzou is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lauzou manages to get to full guard.

Lauzou scrambles and gets back to his feet.
StAmand lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by StAmand.
Lauzou fakes high and swings low for a body shot but StAmand manages to avoid it.
Jaeq Lauzou is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Lauzou! StAmand is backing up but he can't get away as Lauzou lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops StAmand and ends the fight. Great knockout.
