Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reece Lev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Odonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel Odonnell!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odonnell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lev sprawls well initially but Odonnell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lev blocking the ground and pound attempt from Odonnell.
Lev is positioning himself well to prevent Odonnell advancing to mount.
Odonnell wants to stand up but Lev is controlling the position.
Lev is looking to control Odonnell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lev avoid being mounted?
Lev has his hands clasped together around Odonnell's back. He's all about the action.
Lev is looking for a sweep. Odonnell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Reece Lev just wasn't active enough.
Odonnell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Odonnell is fending him off so far but Lev persists. Nope, Odonnell circles away and we're back to standing.

Odonnell tries to hold on but Lev pushes him away.

Odonnell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Lev gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Lev decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Odonnell's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Lev counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Odonnell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lev in particular looking to stall.

Reece Lev has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Odonnell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The referee asks Lev politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lev prefers to stall for the moment though.

Odonnell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Reece Lev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lev is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Odonnell is just riding it out for now. Lev eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Reece Lev.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
