The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vakarian on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Greenleaf. Greenleaf obviously looking to wear him down.
Greenleaf with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vakarian to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Frank Greenleaf has been cut.
Greenleaf fails with a takedown attempt.
Greenleaf throws out a leg kick but Vakarian moves out of range and Greenleaf only half commits.
Vakarian digs a good hook to Greenleaf's body.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Greenleaf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vakarian to the mat! Vakarian manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Greenleaf slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Greenleaf looks up at the clock and then as Vakarian takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Greenleaf smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
