Vass comes to the cage accompanied by Highway to Hell (AC/DC). Franklyn Vass has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vass just misses with a punch to the body.
Oral pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vass tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Oral to counter with a crisp jab.
Oral shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vass as he avoids it easily.
Vass ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oral moves away.
Vass swings away with a body shot that misses
and Oral counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Oral closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vass quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vass keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Oral thows a huge punch but Vass dodges it nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Marquez Oral.
Oral fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vass.
Vass displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oral.

Oral wants to stand and escape but Vass is having none of it.
Oral seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Oral tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oral has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Oral wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vass keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vass shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vass was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Vass stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Oral clinches up with Vass and pushes him back against the cage.

Oral works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oral moves into range and clinches up with Vass.

Oral pulls guard effortlessly.

Oral looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Vass wants to stand and escape but instead Oral has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Oral postures up.
Oral is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Oral passes Vass's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oral is pressing down on Vass's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vass is holding on for now.

Oral seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vass does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well Oral has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
