Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Dray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dray comes to the cage accompanied by Champion. Mike Stevens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Dray!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws a push kick but Dray slaps the foot to one side.
Stevens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Stevens does no damage.
Stevens connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dray shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Dray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dray bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stevens throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stevens misses with an uppercut. Dray saw that one coming.
Stevens goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stevens throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Stevens scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Dray takes one on the button.
Dray uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevens.
Dray on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stevens thuds a left hand into Dray's body.
Stevens misses with a wild combination.
Dray checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dray takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mike Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left and a right from Stevens both land. Nice combination.
Stevens throws a shot to the body.
Dray on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dray moves away.

Stevens throws a series of punches but Dray avoids them all with ease.
Stevens looks to throw the jab but Dray is out of range.
Stevens throws the left hand but Dray avoids the punch easily.
A shot to the liver by Stevens. Beautiful body shot.
Stevens connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dray's hands.
Mike Stevens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stevens lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stevens lands a right hook to the body.

Stevens lands a left and a right that send Dray crashing to the mat, dazed. Stevens thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dray is rocked!
Stevens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dray circles away quickly and effectively.
Stevens lands with a hook. Dray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Stevens lands a jab.
Oh Dray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dray get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Dray stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Stevens runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Stevens! Mike Stevens retains his light heavyweight title!
