The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean misses with a wild combination.
Kaizer misses with a kick to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bean is defended easily by Kaizer.
Bean fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kaizer lands a two punch combo.
Bean shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaizer pinned against the cage. Kaizer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butter Bean. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bean shoots in for a double leg but Kaizer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No joy there for Bean, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bean lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kaizer circles away quickly and effectively.
Kaizer lands a brutal head kick. Bean looks out on his feet and Kaizer throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
