Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Modi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Modi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Stone manages to break the clinch.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Modi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Stone is rocked!
Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Stone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Modi pushes Stone up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone manages to break the clinch.
Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Modi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Modi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Modi has him pressed against the cage.
Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Modi clinches up with Stone and pushes him back against the cage.
Modi breaks from the clinch.
Stone seems to have got his legs back now.
Modi lands with a big left! Stone is wobbled badly! Modi comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Stone to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thor Modi!
