Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Liam Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sau Minneo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minneo has chosen PowerTrip by Monster Magnet as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sau Minneo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minneo misses with a double jab.
Thomas throws a leg kick
and Minneo counters with a big head kick but Thomas shrugs it off.
Thomas slaps away a takedown attempt from Minneo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thomas wants to land a leg kick but Minneo is out of range.
Thomas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thomas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Minneo.
Thomas cracks a nice hook into Minneo's ribs.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Minneo moves away.
Minneo connects with a leg kick. Thomas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Minneo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thomas to the ground. Minneo is now in Thomas's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Thomas wants to stand but Minneo is controlling the position.
Thomas has his foot on Minneo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Minneo works his way back into a safe position though.
Thomas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Thomas is trying to control the position but Minneo postures up.

Minneo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Minneo lands a head kick. Thomas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

and Minneo counters with a big head kick but Thomas shrugs it off.
Thomas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Minneo.
Minneo lands with an overhand left.
Thomas is rocked!

BOOM! Minneo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Thomas. Thomas tries to recover but Minneo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Thomas lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
