Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taro Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishima throws a right and a left that Walker avoids nicely.

Mishima tries to keep at a distance but Walker has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mishima has hold of Walker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Walker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mishima can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walker is looking to escape.

Mishima goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Walker is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mishima tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mishima to the ground. Mishima escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mishima scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mishima throws a combination. Walker tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Pete Walker has been cut.
Walker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mishima bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Walker's head backwards.
Mishima's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mishima duly obliges.
Mishima scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mishima ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walker moves away.

Walker closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Walker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mishima.

and Walker counters with a shoot takedown. Mishima fights it but they end up in guard.

Walker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mishima, up you get!
