The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan misses with a straight right.
Sullivan misses with a body shot.

and Jamie counters with a nice body shot.
Jamie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sullivan.
Sullivan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jamie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jamie slips under a jab from Sullivan.
Sullivan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sullivan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jamie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jamie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Sullivan. Those never looked like landing.
Jamie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Jamie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sullivan thinking.
Rocky Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jamie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sullivan throws a body punch but Jamie moves out of range.
Sullivan tries to clinch but Jamie moves away
and Jamie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sullivan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jamie counters with a huge left! Sullivan is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jamie isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sullivan from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jamie!
