Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malkin cracks Hammersmidt with a good jab.
It looks like Stefan Hammersmidt has been cut.
Both fighters circling a little - Malkin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Hammersmidt missing with a left hand there. Malkin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hammersmidt looks to throw the jab but Malkin is out of range.
Hammersmidt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malkin.
Hammersmidt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hammersmidt misses with an uppercut.
Stefan Hammersmidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malkin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hammersmidt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Malkin lands a front kick.
Malkin lands a leg kick that knocks Hammersmidt off balance momentarily.
Hammersmidt is breathing heavily.
Malkin scores with a leg kick.
Hammersmidt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Malkin lands a head shot.
Hammersmidt misses with a series of wild punches.
Crunch! Malkin slams his shin into Hammersmidt's torso.

Malkin cracks Hammersmidt with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hammersmidt looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Malkin finish him?
Hammersmidt is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hammersmidt walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hammersmidt limp body while Malkin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Evgeniy Malkin!
