Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Lessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Conlon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Lessler!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lessler lands a jab to Conlon's midsection.
Conlon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Lessler feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Conlon sprawling to the canvas! Conlon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lessler finish him?!


Conlon is rocked!


It looks like Ben Conlon has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lessler looks to land a combination but Conlon avoids it well.
Oh Conlon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lessler misses with a few strikes there.
Conlon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lessler.
Lessler throws a nice looking combination but Conlon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Conlon seems to have got his legs back now.
Lessler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lessler closes the distance and clinches.
Lessler wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lessler ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lessler no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Conlon is fighting to break Lessler's control of his arms but Lessler is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Lessler throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lessler wants to stand up but Conlon is controlling him.
Lessler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conlon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lessler wants to sweep here but Conlon controlling him for the moment.
Lessler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lessler has Conlon pulled in close to control his posture.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tim Lessler wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lessler fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lessler is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Conlon hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tim Lessler!
In his post fight interview, Tim Lessler started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
