And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugo Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean takes the fight into the clinch.
Oliveira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bean breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Bean. No joy for Oliveira on that attempt.
Oliveira wants to clinch up but Bean keeps it at a distance.
Bean throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Oliveira.
It looks like Hugo Oliveira has been cut.
Oliveira lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bean shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bean was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bean is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Oliveira can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bean postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Oliveira in real trouble here! The ref calls for Oliveira to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Butter Bean!
After the fight, Butter Bean was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
