The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Diabolis.
Diabolis doesn't manage to clinch there - Hicks circles away.

Hicks drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hicks tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hicks works to advance to full mount. Diabolis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Hicks with shots to the head and body - Diabolis looks very uncomfortable down there.

Hicks is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Diabolis is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Diabolis flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hicks anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Diabolis and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hicks slips an arm under Diabolis chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hicks has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hicks is squeezing on Diabolis like an anaconda would it's prey. Diabolis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
