The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bones.
A telegraphed right hand from Bones misses the target.
Carose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carose tries a head kick but it misses.

Bones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carose is trying to defend but Bones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carose does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nash Bones.

Carose drops Bones with a left and a right! Oh, Bones is hurt - Carose dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Nash Bones has been cut.

Carose throws an elbow but Bones slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bones is looking for a sweep.

Bones managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Carose.
Carose scores with punches from side control.

Carose decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bones to his feet.

Carose cracks Bones with an uppercut from hell and Bones crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Carose's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Bones is rocked!

That has opened up Nash Bones's cut even more.

Carose postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Bones covers up, he's hurt! Carose keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Carose and the ref steps in to end the fight! Carose can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
