Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sandro Filcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Cinderella Man By Eminem as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Daniel Ryan enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan shoots in but Filcic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Filcic tries to sprawl out of it but Ryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Filcic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sandro Filcic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Ryan.
Filcic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryan.

Ryan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ryan closes the distance and clinches up with Filcic, looking for a takedown. Ryan pushes Filcic against the cage but Filcic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ryan dives in and grabs Filcic's left leg, looking for a takedown. Filcic pushes down on Ryan's head and hops out.

It looks like Daniel Ryan has been cut.
Ryan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Filcic gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Filcic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Filcic thumps Ryan with a low kick.
Filcic looks to land a combination. Ryan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ryan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Filcic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Filcic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Filcic wants to free his trapped foot but Ryan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Filcic is pressed up against the cage. Ryan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Filcic down to the mat. Filcic avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
