The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neely bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Neely cracks the inside of Large's front leg.
Large lands a really nice looking cross but Neely seems unphased.
Neely lands with a good body shot.
Neely looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Neely uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Large.
Large connects with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neely misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Large throws the left hand but Neely avoids the punch easily.
Large tests Neely's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Large. Neely does a little dance to reset his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Neely connects with a nice short shot to Large's temple.
Large misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Large is staying active underneath Neely, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Large is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Neely scores with a couple of nice shots.
Large is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Neely's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Neely's back!
Large lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Large.
Large has the hooks in. Neely is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Neely sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Neely is trying to stick to Large's back but Large is turning into Neely. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Neely's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Large.

Neely bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Large's guard.
Large manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Large pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neely throws a looping overhand right but Large ducks down to avoid it.
Large throws a leg kick that misses.
Whack! Neely lands a heavy head kick that drops Large. The ref tackles Neely to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Large was done.
