The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saitama jabs Cross to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Saitama works the jab nicely.
Saitama lands a nice hook to Cross's body. Cross takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cross fails with the takedown
and Saitama counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cross is breathing heavily.
Saitama scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Saitama cracks Cross with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saitama has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cross to stand back up!
Cross is rocked!
Saitama stuns Cross with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh Cross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cross takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cross leaves his chin hanging out and Saitama seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Cross crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Satoshi Saitama!
