The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood throws a nice looking combination but Groos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wood throws a leg kick which misses Groos's front leg but catches the back leg as Groos tries to avoid it.
Wood throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Groos looks gassed!
Wood scores with a leg kick.
Wood tests Groos's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Groos should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Wood lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Groos crumples to the floor! Wood milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
