The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirapthlak wants to clinch but Pac slips to the side

and Pac counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mirapthlak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mirapthlak holds on and takes a little breather.
