Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe has chosen Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - Kill Again as his entrance music. Eli Crowe has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Crowe!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe wants to slow Archer down by chopping away at his legs.
Archer connects with an inside leg kick.
Archer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Crowe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Crowe thuds a left hand into Archer's body.

and Archer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Archer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crowe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crowe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Archer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crowe looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crowe looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crowe!
Archer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Archer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crowe is working away from the top position though.

Archer is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Archer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Archer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crowe manages to get himself to full guard.
Crowe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Archer slips a nice elbow through Crowe's hands, connecting with Crowe's forehead.

Archer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Archer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A determined Aaron Archer didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
