Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nebojsa Mihattovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mihattovic comes to the cage accompanied by Geto Boys - Still. MacLeod is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Battle Hymn . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihattovic connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
MacLeod throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
MacLeod missing with a left hand there. Mihattovic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
MacLeod thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mihattovic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt MacLeod.
Mihattovic avoids the body shot from MacLeod.
Mihattovic throws a low kick but it's checked well by MacLeod.
Mihattovic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacLeod manages to avoid it.
A punch combination from MacLeod misses.

MacLeod leaves Mihattovic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
MacLeod paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
MacLeod lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mihattovic moves away from the strike by MacLeod.
Mihattovic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
MacLeod just misses with a punch to the body.

Mihattovic blocks a jab.

Mihattovic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
MacLeod tries to clinch but Mihattovic is having none of it.
MacLeod lands the left hand.
MacLeod will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
MacLeod rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mihattovic counters with a takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
MacLeod manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mihattovic passes the guard and advances to mount!
Mihattovic misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Mihattovic throws some wild stikes that MacLeod manages to avoid easily.
Mihattovic misses with a head shot.
Mihattovic lands with some strikes.
Mihattovic tries to control but MacLeod wriggling away.

Mihattovic lands with some vicious ground and pound - can MacLeod hang on?
A nice elbow there by Mihattovic.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mihattovic lands a heavy elbow.
MacLeod is rocked!
Mihattovic postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have MacLeod in real trouble here! The ref calls for MacLeod to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
